Maxxis Crossmark Exo TR rubber was created to meet the needs of bikers who practice Cross-country or Marathon. The tread blocks of the rolling strip guarantee perfect performance, while the higher lateral ones help grip when cornering and on slopes. The rubber also has a 60 TPI casing that ensures the full balance between strength and lightness, and a 70a compound that gives grip and durability. The Tubeless Ready system offers assembly with or without an inner tube, while the Exo reinforcement on the sides ensures protection from abrasions or tears.

Technologies:

• EXO: material extremely resistant to cuts and abrasions added on the sides of MTB tires. This layer obtained with a super light dense texture does not affect the performance of the rubber.
• TR TUBELESS READY: The tubeless ready TR version of MAXXIS provides the rider with many advantages: the possibility of pedaling with a reduced pressure of the cover, this greatly improves traction; a lower rolling resistance compared to the covering with an inner tube; less chance of having ground cover. Maxxis TR tubeless ready tires have the same advantages as UST tubeless tires without being penalized by the greater weight. For the TR version, a standard casing is used and therefore requires the use of anti-puncture liquid for air tightness. Maxxis TR covers are the only covers approved for use with anti-puncture fluids.
  Maxxis TR tubeless ready tires can also be used on non-tubeless wheels with the use of an inner tube.
