The Minion SS tire by Maxxis is the tire that combines the fast sliding cross-country cover and the aggressive downhill cover, in addition to the addition of low-profile central blocks alongside the side caps. This union creates a fast and sliding cover with a square profile that offers perfect traction on any type of terrain. The rubber offers the Tubeless Ready system that allows you to mount the rubber and the Exo reinforcement on the sides with or without an inner tube for greater protection against abrasion and tearing.

Technologies:

• EXO: material extremely resistant to cuts and abrasions added on the sides of MTB tires. This layer obtained with a super light dense texture does not affect the performance of the rubber.
• TR TUBELESS READY: The tubeless ready TR version of MAXXIS provides the rider with many advantages: the possibility of pedaling with a reduced pressure of the cover, this greatly improves traction; a lower rolling resistance compared to the covering with an inner tube; less chance of having ground cover. Maxxis TR tubeless ready tires have the same advantages as UST tubeless tires without being penalized by the greater weight. For the TR version, a standard casing is used and therefore requires the use of anti-puncture liquid for air tightness. Maxxis TR covers are the only covers approved for use with anti-puncture fluids.
  Maxxis TR tubeless ready tires can also be used on non-tubeless wheels with the use of an inner tube.
