WHYTE E-180 WORKS MX BIKE

The WHYTE E-180 WORKS MX BIKE is the ultimate super enduro made for the fastest riders on the fiercest trails. The bike is powered by Bosch's Performance Line CX Race Limited Edition engine and features a gravity frame with 180 mm front/170 mm rear suspension and MX wheels (29er front, 27.5" rear) to tackle everything on the gas, regardless of difficulty or gradient.
The e-180's all-new gravity frame maximises the benefits of Whyte's unique sloping motor and super-low battery, which brings the bike's centre of gravity as low as possible to give riders ultra-stable, dynamically centred and confident handling on any terrain.
The 'in-tube' battery design makes the frame even more robust, stylish and intelligent as it exceeds the highest safety levels by almost 250% in some areas; vital when competing in longer, tougher and more brutal events than any other in mountain biking.
The Bosch Performance Line CX Race Limited Edition motor delivers more power, faster and longer from a lighter block. So you can accelerate more, maintain top speed better, and even kick-boost on the technical sections you can't pedal, literally leaving the competition high and dry.
The 750Wh battery provides hours of power on the toughest race stages and epic courses, while the new bar-mounted LED remote provides all the connectivity and control you need. We've also teamed up with Bosch to develop our Axial Rail sliding battery technology, which allows you to change the battery mid-race with ease.
The bike rides on a custom-optimised RockShox Zeb Ultimate fork and Super Deluxe shock and turns every mm of travel into extra speed and traction, giving riders the perfect balance of support, grip, confidence and control from the first pedal stroke.
The SRAM XX1 Eagle AXS groupset wirless the fastest and most precise shifting system, as well as being super light. DT Swiss wheels are designed to handle the brutal extra torque and flat-out racing, and the MX 29er/27.5" combo is the fastest Whyte has ever tested.
The Shape.It 'flip-chip' link allows the bike's geometry to be changed quickly and easily without affecting the suspension kinematics by raising or lowering the bottom bracket (BB) height. By using the shock extender and effectively moving the length of the shock from eye to eye, the bottom bracket can be raised or lowered. Moving from the high to the low position can loosen the bike by 0.6 degrees and lower the bottom bracket by 8 mm.
