Speedy Mousse was founded by the hand of Luigi Mazzoni and Giuseppe Zecchi, two old childhood friends who meet in the third age with the spirit of two eighteen year olds to do business and innovation together in the sector they love all their lives.
Luigi and Giuseppe attend elementary and middle schools in the same class and start competing in motorbikes in 1973 with 50cc "Romeo Fabrizio", handcrafted in Florence.
After returning from military service, now adults, they maintain their consolidated friendship, but their professional paths take different directions: Luigi becomes an appreciated professional pilot, in the cross but especially in the enduro, while Giuseppe instead founded a company (Fedi Gomme) that deals with industrial tires (trucks and buses).
The company specializes in the sector of sales per kilometer traveled, a formula particularly appreciated by public transport companies and large private fleets, reaching 52 employees, a reconstruction of its own and 35 mobile workshops.
In 2009 it was sold to a multinational company, to which Giuseppe continued to provide his valuable advice until the end of 2014.
At this point in their career that Giuseppe and Luigi start seeing each other every day and, to tell each other about their experiences: Giuseppe, reflecting a lot on Luigi's latest work experience regarding motorcycle mousses, remains particularly attracted to this strange product and recommends to Luigi to apply for a patent. The patent application is accepted but, despite all their knowledge in the sector, they discover that nobody was willing to divulge their technical experiences and produce mousses for them.
So, with the aforementioned spirit of two eighteen-year-olds, Giuseppe and Luigi decide to jump straight into the fray, because the challenge was particularly exciting and the goal was clear and categorical: to build particularly performing mousses, especially in terms of grip, sacrificing limited product life.
It took two years of experimentation, endless tests with 26 types of compounds and a quantity of molds that we prefer not to quantify, before getting as close as possible to the target they had set themselves. Now the commitment is to constantly continue with the experimentation to obtain better and better performances ... because this is only the beginning!

Its low weight can be compensated by fitting "tube type" tires, non-reinforced tires and with the total absence of puncture-proof liquids inside (allowing you to save up to 400 g).
