Defeet is an American brand, founded in 1992 by Shane Cooper, which has always been involved in the production of knitted mtb and cycling socks. The first product created was a fully customizable air-flow sock with an open weave. All athletes who practiced endurance sports immediately noticed this news and, in a short time, Defeet was known all over the world.
The elegance, simplicity and materials used to resist are still the main characteristics of the brand.

While it is possible to wear cycling socks to do almost anything, almost all socks don't work for cycling. Cycling shoes have a very specific fit and riding conditions ranging from the warmest temperatures imaginable below zero. The company manufactures several models of cycling socks:

AIREATOR®: the original DeFeet sock has been constantly updated and remains the reference standard for cycling socks. The upper part of the sock is made of Aireator mesh fabric with open mesh, breathable and thin for a light sensation and an always efficient and snug fit. All models are made of Sorbtek Repreve fibers derived from recycled resources.

CYCLISMO®: socks made of wool and ThermoCool ™. The model has a cushion under the sole of the foot to help dampen the vibrations coming from the road and eliminate any "sliding" or movement of the foot inside the shoe.

LEVITATOR® LITE: the lightest sock of the Defeet cycling line, Levitator Lite is for those who want the minimum amount of sock inside the shoe. The feeling is even more subtle than Aireator.

LEVITATOR® TRAIL: the model preferred by all those who use MTB. The padding, through the foot and toes, ensures a secure fit in MTB shoes. To absorb shocks and protect the foot from rocks, debris and abrasions, the Levitator Trail is the best existing model.

THERMEATOR®: it is the model created for colder temperatures. THERMEATOR® creates a thin and light layer of insulation inside the shoe. It is made of Thermolite®, a fiber that helps retain body heat. Keeping your feet warm on colder days on the bike helps save energy and increase comfort and performance.

WOOLEATOR®: The wool version of the Aireator. Wooleator is a thin, unpadded sock perfect for wearing in any season. The sock is perfect for wearing when cycling on mountainous terrain and there is humidity.

WOOLIE BOOLIE: padded socks on the whole heel and on the bottom of the foot. The Woolie Boolie are the thickest DeFeet cycling socks. For many, these are the best autumn / winter, outdoor, fitness and casual cycling socks.
