Stans No Tubes was founded in 2001 by Stan Koziatek who, frustrated by continuous inner tube punctures, thought that MTB tyres could work better without them and developed a system to replace inner tubes with a liquid sealant. 

Tubeless tyres made with this new liquid sealant offered more traction, more control, more comfort and rolled faster. 

The benefits in terms of performance were many and soon racers at the highest level of the sport began to use this new product. 

Today, cyclists and racers around the world rely on tubeless technology developed by Stan, and the sealant has been recognized as one of the most important innovations in cycling history. 

What the company has learned about sealing conventional tubeless rims has enabled the development of a line of rims and wheels: thanks to the patented Bead Socket Technology all rims are very reliable. 

The company currently also manufactures ultra-lightweight and anti-vibration carbon fibre wheels and rims. Thanks to Tubeless knowledge, Radial Impact Absorbing Carbon Technology (RiACT) has been developed: a special rim shape and a special manufacturing process absorb vibrations and help to improve handling. 

In addition to tubeless tyres ready for MTB, the company also manufactures high-performance tubeless systems for road bikes, offering both carbon fibre and aluminium rims specially designed to handle the higher pressures of tubeless road tyres.
