Mavic was born in 1889 in France and its path begins by focusing on the manufacture and sale of bicycle components. In 1934 Mavic created the first "headset" mudguards for racing bikes, unique on the market and designed to prevent the cyclist from getting wet, while in 2012 the CX01 technology was born, thanks to which the wheel and tire are integrated into a single system in so as to reduce the aerodynamic turbulence around the tire and the wheel.
