Innovation, the search for new solutions, the desire to follow new paths into the unknown, were the ideas that have always guided his choices: in 1987, in Prato, Formula was born, designed to bring technology, experiments and all the knowledge of the world of motors to that of MTB.
Over the years, it has become the leader in MTB component innovation: with the introduction of the Standard, the first hydraulic disc brake in history has been created, exclusively designed for use on mountain bikes.
What sets Formula MTB apart from many other brands are its 100% Made In Italy products, synonymous with efficiency, quality and endurance.

On Pro-M Store you can find a wide range of Formula MTB brakes available for all disciplines. The formula R1 and R1R brakes, specially designed for the Cross Country discipline but perfectly adaptable to the All Mountain, are the lightest formula brake on the market and, thanks to a "pull" rather than "push" lever system, requires one minimal effort during use, thus returning a feeling to the lever that will leave you amazed.
Moving to other disciplines, we find the formula brakes ROR, made for gravity and manufactured with Oval Piston technology, which allows you to have the power of a 4-piston caliper, while maintaining the reliability, modulation and lightness of a two-brake pistons. All to be discovered are the Cura, designed for All Mountain, Enduro and DH, have a pump with axial design that uses a special high-performance mineral oil that make the brakes perfect for every type of biker.
Inheriting the quality of the materials from the younger brother, the Cura 4 brake has no equal in terms of power and modulation: The optimized roll-back allows you to reach that exceptional lever feel that has already made your brother famous, plus the surface of increased friction of the pads and increased thickness, guarantee perfect adaptability and maximum control over the supply of braking power. Last, but not least, we find the Cura-E designed for the specific E-Bike use.
In addition to the production of brakes for every type of biker, Formula has also decided to focus on different lines of forks and wheels to meet the needs and preferences of each track: the BLACK fork (C and R) and the Line G wheel for the DownHill, the SELVA fork and the Line 3 wheel for the Enduro, the fork 35 and the Line 4 wheel for the All Mountain, the formula 33 forks and the Line 2 wheel for the Cross Country.
