KMC Chains is a brand, founded in 1977 by Charles Wu in Taiwan, which deals with the production of roller chains, cam transmission, balanced transmission, oil chains, motorcycle chains and bicycle chains.

KMC chains are known to work perfectly with Shimano, SRAM and Campagnolo transmissions. Bicycle manufacturers such as Specialized install KMC chains with Shimano and SRAM components on the bikes.

KMC manufactures bicycle chains with 3/16, 1/8, 3/32, 11/128 inch widths and with external widths compatible with single speed transmissions, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 speeds. The company manufactures chains with hollow pins and with openings in the links, made of stainless steel, coated with titanium nitride or painted in various colors.

KMC bike chains are compatible with all major systems and can be mounted on both road and MTB bikes.
