Leatt is a leading manufacturer of protectors for high-end cyclists and motorcyclists. It was founded in South Africa in the early 2000s by Dr Chris Leatt, who wanted to find solutions to reduce neck injuries due to impacts. Production of collars began, the first of which was sold in 2004. The following year the Leatt Company was established. In the following years the brand exports its products all over the world, winning several international awards and recognitions.

New neck and body protectors were launched on the market and in 2015 the first motorbike and MTB helmets were presented.

Today Leatt is also involved in the production of protective goggles, technical clothing, and shoes for MTB and downhill, thanks to a team of engineers and biomedical experts who are constantly working to improve the performance, resistance and comfort of the products.

The Leatt helmet is suitable for different disciplines of the MTB world, such as Cross Country, All Mountain and hiking. It is characterized by a polycarbonate shell and a light in-mold shell. Thanks to the Turbine 360° technology, which provides small shock absorbers inside the padding, which reduce the rotation force due to impacts.
