Renthal is a company known throughout the world for the production of components for bikes and motorcycles. Production focuses mainly on MTB and downhill handlebars. The main models of handlebars for mtb are: - Fatbar Carbon: Enduro, Dowhill and BMX. - Fatbar Lite Carbon: designed for riders who use handlebars with zero rise in XC and trail. - Fatbar V2: made entirely of UD carbon with efficient unidirectional carbon fibre positioning and orientation, it combines the right mix of stiffness, strength and vibration absorption. The rise measures the height of the grips (and therefore the hands) in relation to the stem. This measurement can be positive or zero. Depending on the rise there are three different types of mtb handlebars: - Flat: max 10mm of rise (the hands are practically at the same level as the stem). - Low riser: 11-30mm. - Riser: more than 30mm. The riser has a very strong influence on both the position you hold in the saddle and the angle of the biker's back.
