Thomson is a brand that was founded in 1968 and is one of the few brands to produce telescopic seatposts and not dealing with the world of suspension, in fact all the most successful models on the market have or have had experience in the world of forks or shock absorbers. Thomson breaks this habit with products of high quality construction, the level to which this brand has accustomed its admirers. One of Thomson's most important and well-known products is the Elite seatpost which features forged clamps, an integrated milled head and an elliptical shaped 7000 aluminium body. The seatpost and head are welded together, forming a single, very strong piece with minimal weight: this allows the saddle to remain attached to the stem without having to dismantle it. The seatpost includes impact absorbing clamps: the clamps, head and assembly extend and flex the impact to protect the saddle, the rails, the sleeve and the rider. Another item to consider for the csa is the Masterpiece, made of super lightweight material and is ideal for road and XC bikes. Thomson, however, also develops handlebar bindings and components for the bike of the highest quality and which are important reference points for the market.
