CAMELBAK CRUX RESERVOIR 3L WATER BAG

The water bag has now become dispensable during mountain bike rides as it allows bikers to transport water supplies without affecting performance or driving comfort and stability: Camelbak is one of the very few companies in the world that produce water bags, while the most backpack manufacturers use re-branded bags!

For a year now, the Californian brand has put on the market the new Crux water bags, now present in almost all camelbak backpacks.

This innovative hydration system consists of a few basic components:

• The water pipe: it has been redesigned for a transport capacity 20% higher than the previous model, as well as having a quick attachment / release mechanism through the Quick Link System and the new spout with Big Bite valve system and safe closing mechanism .
• The water tank with hermetic screw cap: The cap remains connected to the bag through a small tab, while at the base of the water tank we find the valve that interfaces with the tank tube.
• An internal seal automatically blocks the flow of water when the bag is disconnected from the water pipe.
• The spout: completely redesigned in silicone, it is even easier to use, thanks to the small lever that can be operated with one hand, which stops the flow of water when you no longer need to drink
• Ergonomic handle to refill the bag even with one hand.
• The new Crux bag replaces the previous Antidote on all models in the Camelbak range, and is also available in the Low Rider
• Lumbar version, installed in the prepared backpacks and identifiable by the abbreviation "LR".

In these cases the water tank is positioned in the lower part of the backpack to have a very low center of gravity and decrease the pressure on the cyclist's shoulders.
