The ELECTRIC CANNONDALE MOTERRA NEO 1 2019 MTB is perfect for effortless ascents and descents thanks to its calibrated suspension, extreme rigidity and exceptionally low centre of gravity. The eMTB ride mode and the CX transmission system guarantee the right level of support on any surface (from 120% up to 300% from the very first moment). The bike is equipped with the Bosch PowerTube system, integrated in the down tube, which keeps the weight of the battery low and centered, so you don't have to give up agility and stability. The bike is equipped with a 140 mm travel fork, powerful brakes, telescopic seatpost and 2.6" tyres.
The position of the Bosch drive unit allows the use of low and short chainstays and to align the pivot in such a way as to reduce the risk that engine and pedal torques adversely affect the suspension action. Thanks to the Si engine mount and the Ai offset chainring (asymmetric integration) the Moterra Neo 1 mounts the lowest and shortest chainstays of any Bosch dual suspension bike model. The custom Ai sprocket allows the chain to be moved out of the chain by 6mm, giving you both enough space for ultra-short low chainstays and plenty of space for the tyres to pass through, in line with the extra-wide, super-rigid 157mm rear hub of the e-bike.
The bike features a modified single fulcrum suspension, ECS-TC System (Enhanced Center Stiffness - Torsion Control) thru-axle pins and a wide 157mm rear hub for stability, handling and control.
