ENVE SES 4.5 AR DISC CLINCHER ALLOY 12/142 XDR WHEELS

The wheels that first combined aerodynamics with tires made for wide tires, designed to pedal even faster on all road surfaces. Tested directly on the cobblestones of Paris-Roubaix. Wide wheels for maximum grip and aerodynamics.
Front rim is shallower and wider than the rear rim for maximum stability and rider confidence while the rear rim is deeper to maximize airflow reduction.
The rims are optimized for 28-32mm tires, with 28mm tires providing maximum drag reduction and high handling characteristics.

The all-road version of the 4.5 is designed for the cobblestones of the Paris - Roubaix and for riding on gravel and dirt roads and trails. The ses 4.5 ar rims have a hookless heel profile and a system that prevents air loss on impact or aggressive cornering loads.

The use of tubeless tires has led to the introduction of wider frames that can accommodate wider rims so that it is easier to fit tubeless tires. Disc brakes allow larger tires to be mounted without overheating the rim.
