The brand-new GARMIN EDGE 1040 GPS is perfect for use by both professional athletes and those who want to keep improving their performance. This cyclocomputer is the successor to the 1030 with which it shares many important and improved features to always ensure the best user-experience at high levels of training or racing.
The body is completely redesigned, the display is 3.5" and is clearly visible even when exposed to the sun while the rear fins are made of metal to ensure a more solid attachment without breakage.
With new built-in features such as stamina calculation, power management with power guide bike-specific POI detection it is possible to prepare for competitions in an increasingly personalized and precise way.
This version (Solar) is equipped with small solar panel placed under the glass to further extend battery life (1 charge alone provides about 7 days total battery life, based on 8 hours of use per day*).
