Maxxis' Crossmark Exo TR tires was created to meet the needs of cross-country or marathon bikers. The gussets on the rolling band ensure perfect performance, while the higher side gussets help grip on bends and slopes. The tire also has a 60 TPI carcass that ensures the full balance between strength and lightness, and a 70a compound that gives grip and durability. The Tubeless Ready system offers tubeless or tubeless mounting, while the Exo sidewall reinforcement provides protection from abrasion or tearing.

TECHNOLOGIES

• EXO: extremely resistant to cuts and abrasions added to the sides of MTB tyres. This layer obtained with a super-light dense weave does not affect the performance of the rubber.
• TR TUBELESS READY: The TR tubeless ready version of MAXXIS provides the biker with many advantages: the possibility to pedal with a reduced tyre pressure, this greatly improves traction; lower rolling resistance compared to tubeless tyres; lower possibility to have the tyre on the ground. Maxxis TR tubeless ready covers have the same advantages as UST tubeless covers without being penalized by the increased weight. For the TR version a standard casing is used and therefore requires the use of anti-puncture liquid for air tightness. Maxxis TR covers are the only covers approved for use with anti-puncture liquids.
  Maxxis TR tubeless ready tyres can also be used on non Tubeless wheels with the use of an inner tube.
