The Minion DHF tire signed Maxxis was made to compete in the NORBA Downhill championship, as it is able to accompany the biker on any type of trail, even the most muddy or unstable. The tire mounts both ramp caps, ideal to reduce rolling resistance, and caps with central channel to increase the grip angles, give stability on the straight and in curves. The Minion DHF tyre fits well at the rear and front or only at the front when combined with DHR, it also features the triple compound (3C) MaxxTerra tire mix which offers an excellent compromise with better traction and grip.

TECHNOLOGIES

• 3C MAXX GROUND TRIPLE MIXTURE: An intermediate compound configuration is used in selected mountain tires. 3C MaxxTerra is softer and offers more traction than 3C MaxxSpeed, it is also more wear resistant and has lower rolling resistance.
• EXO: extremely cut-resistant and abrasion-resistant material added to the sides of MTB tires. This layer obtained with a super-lightweight dense weave does not affect the performance of the tire.
• TR TUBELESS READY: The TR tubeless ready version of MAXXIS provides the biker with many advantages: the possibility to pedal with a reduced tires pressure, this greatly improves traction; lower rolling resistance compared to an inner tube tires; lower possibility to have the tires on the ground. Maxxis TR tubeless ready covers have the same advantages as UST tubeless covers without being penalized by the increased weight. For the TR version a standard casing is used and therefore requires the use of anti-puncture liquid for air tightness. Maxxis TR covers are the only covers approved for use with anti-puncture liquids.
  Maxxis TR tubeless ready tires can also be used on non Tubeless wheels with the use of an inner tube.
