The Minion DHF tire by Maxxis was created to compete in the Downhill NORBA championship, as it is able to accompany the biker on any type of path, even the most muddy or unstable. The rubber mounts both ramp caps, ideal for reducing rolling resistance, and caps with central channel to increase the gripping angles, giving stability on the straight and when cornering. The Minion DHF rubber fits well both as rear and as front or only in front if combined with DHR. The Tubeless Ready system offers assembly with or without an inner tube, while the Exo reinforcement on the sides ensures protection from abrasions or tears.

Technologies:

• EXO: material extremely resistant to cuts and abrasions added on the sides of MTB tires. This layer obtained with a super light dense texture does not affect the performance of the rubber.
• TR TUBELESS READY: The tubeless ready TR version of MAXXIS provides the rider with many advantages: the possibility of pedaling with a reduced pressure of the cover, this greatly improves traction; a lower rolling resistance compared to the covering with an inner tube; less chance of having ground cover. Maxxis TR tubeless ready tires have the same advantages as UST tubeless tires without being penalized by the greater weight. For the TR version, a standard casing is used and therefore requires the use of anti-puncture liquid for air tightness. Maxxis TR covers are the only covers approved for use with anti-puncture fluids.
  Maxxis TR tubeless ready tires can also be used on non-tubeless wheels with the use of an inner tube.
