The Minion DHF tire signed Maxxis was made to compete in the NORBA Downhill championship, as it is able to accompany the biker on any type of trail, even the most muddy or unstable. The tire mounts both ramp caps, ideal to reduce rolling resistance, and caps with central channel to increase the grip angles, give stability on the straight and in curves. The Minion DHF tyre fits well at the rear and front or only at the front when combined with DHR. The Tubeless Ready system offers mounting with or without an inner tube, while the Exo sidewall reinforcement provides protection from abrasion or tearing.

TECHNOLOGIES

• EXO: extremely resistant to cuts and abrasions added to the sides of MTB tire. This layer obtained with a super-light dense weave does not affect the performance of the tire.
• TR TUBELESS READY: The TR tubeless ready version of MAXXIS provides the biker with many advantages: the possibility to pedal with a reduced tyre pressure, this greatly improves traction; lower rolling resistance compared to tubeless tire; lower possibility to have the tyre on the ground. Maxxis TR tubeless ready covers have the same advantages as UST tubeless covers without being penalized by the increased weight. For the TR version a standard casing is used and therefore requires the use of anti-puncture liquid for air tightness. Maxxis TR covers are the only covers approved for use with anti-puncture liquids.
  Maxxis TR tubeless ready tire can also be used on non Tubeless wheels with the use of an inner tube.
