The new P Zero Race TLR is the first PIRELLI product with tubeless technology entirely made in Italy, at the new factory in Bollate.

The new generation of PZERO Race TLR is the most performing tire in the PIRELLI portfolio and also the first tire with tubeless technology entirely made in Italy. The introduction of the new SPEEDCORE technology in the 120tpi carcass involves the use of a mix of aramid, which covers the inner layer of the tire, improving both the smoothness and the resistance of the rubber. Result: a tire less stiff but faster. The compound maintains the same advanced SmartEVO technology, shared with other high-performance PZERO tires.

TECHNOLOGIES

The most advanced racing formulation for road use ever, born from Pirelli's experience in top Motorsport competitions and specific collaboration with World Tour factory teams. The new SmartEVO Compound utilizes a mixture of 3 different polymers, each providing performance in a perfect balance of opposite characteristics, such as grip and smoothness. The ternary mixture of polymers with "intelligent" behavior characteristics forms the basis of the exceptional properties of the SmartEvo compound, allowing better grip on dry and wet surfaces, while improving rolling resistance. SmartEVO Compound is a high-performance compound developed for the most modern cycling disciplines, from local races or World Tour, to epic adventures where climate and road surfaces require tires that excel in all circumstances. SmartEVO is for exclusive use of the P ZERO range.

SPEEDCORE

The most performing tubeless-ready road structure in the Pirelli range involves the use of a layer of mixture mixed with aramid covering the inner layer of the tire allowing air retention. This new structure makes the tire more resistant, thanks to the presence of aramid, but at the same time less rigid and faster, due to the greater flexibility of the mixture compared to a bead-to-bead fabric. The carcass is then completed by a 120tpi Nylon canvas and an anti-puncture layer, also in aramid.
