The SPECIALIZED BUTCHER BUTCHER BLCK DMND 2 BLISS READY 29X2.6 has a "zigzag" knurling on the dowels for greater stability when under load and for better grip. In this way the inertia increases and the control during braking and cornering is greater.
The patented GRIPTON® compound absorbs high frequency shocks and 'glues' the tyre to the ground. The low frequency bending frequencies of the tyre do not absorb energy, keeping the speed high. The BLCK DMND casing represents the best combination of flexibility and high protection against pinching. To get down at full speed as much traction as possible is required, the tyre must maintain contact with the ground and, at the same time, it must be pinch resistant. To achieve this, only the part of the tread must adapt to the ground, provide grip and absorb all impacts, while the rest of the carcass must provide stability and support for precise driving.
