The SPECIALIZED BUTCHER BLCK DMND ENDURO 2 BLISS READY 27.5X2.8 650BX 2.8 TIRE is the latest generation of intermediate tire used in the World Cup. The model has a "zigzag" knurling positioned on the blocks in order to increase the stability under load and improve the grip. This not only increases inertia but also helps control the bike when braking and cornering.
The patented GRIPTON compound absorbs shock and keeps the tire firmly on the ground. Low frequency flexing of the tire does not absorb energy and keeps speed high.

The new BLCK DMND carcass is the perfect combination of flexibility and extreme puncture protection. To be able to go downhill at full speed you need as much traction as possible and the tire must simultaneously stay in contact with the ground and resist punctures. To achieve this, only the tread part has to adapt to the terrain, provide grip and absorb shocks, while the rest of the carcass has the task of providing stability and support for precise driving.
