Thanks to D'Aluisio Smartweld technology, the Chisel boasts the lightest XC aluminum frame in its class. Each tube is engineered with varied thicknesses and profiles to provide stiffness where needed, ensuring efficiency, vibration absorption, comfort, and optimal control.

With 110mm of Ride Dynamics-tuned suspension travel, the Chisel’s high-performance pedigree comes straight from the Epic 8, our World Cup race machine. The advanced suspension kinematics, progressive geometry, and fine-tuned settings for technical World Cup tracks make the Chisel more than capable of handling diverse terrains with confidence and speed.

Thanks to the geometry and kinematics developed for the Epic 8, the Chisel is the most efficient bike in its class. The forward-set seat tube optimizes the rider’s pedaling position, while the refined anti-squat characteristics reduce pedal-bob. The result? Every watt you put into the pedals translates into maximum forward motion.

SMOOTHER IS FASTER

We designed the Flex Stay seat stays to deliver class-leading suspension performance while eliminating the extra weight and maintenance of traditional pivot points. Extensive field and lab testing have proven that the Chisel achieves the impossible: the efficiency, control, and lightness of a Flex Stay design—commonly found on carbon bikes—using an advanced alloy.

HYDROFORMED ALLOY

The one-piece hydroformed seat tube integrates the bearing seat and bottom bracket shell, reducing weight and material compared to traditional alloy frames.
