SPECIALIZED FUTURE SHOCK 3.3

The Future Shock made its debut in 2016 and immediately showcased its effectiveness by winning the Paris-Roubaix in both 2018 and 2019. Positioned between the stem and the steerer tube, it moves in the opposite direction to the shock forces that hit the wheel and travel up the fork's legs. This substantially reduces the impact and handlebar vibrations while keeping the bike's front end stiff for precise handling. The result is a 53% reduction in force compared to competitors in typical road cycling impacts. This leads to a smoother ride and greater control, allowing riders to maintain speed and safety. The Future Shock 3.0 is adjustable, offering a 20mm travel so that every rider can enjoy the ride tailored to them.

SPECIALIZED FUTURE SHOCK 3.3 MAIN FEATURES:

  • ADJUSTABLE: Individual riders can adjust the response of the Future Shock 3.0 to the terrain they are riding on. Three different springs are available - firm, medium, and soft - and each can use up to five preload washers. Need a firm setup for an aggressive position on rough cobbles, like the pros? Or perhaps you ride in a relaxed position and want it softer to absorb high-frequency vibrations? The setup can be easily adjusted at home in minutes. If you can remove a stem, you can fit a Future Shock 3.0.
  • ON-THE-FLY ADJUSTMENT: As adjustable as the Future Shock 3.0 is, there are still times when you want firmer or softer settings on the same ride. Smooth climb? Keep it firm. Rough descent? Open it up. The new Future Shock (3.3 model) offers improved in-saddle compression adjustment.
  • FUTURE SHOCK 3.3: Hydraulic damping controls the movement for a more controlled and comfortable ride. The rider can adjust the preload to set the desired stiffness for their riding position or the terrain. Compression can be adjusted while seated.
