The new Roval Rapide Cockpit is much more than just the fastest way to reach the finish line. It is the fastest attack weapon we have ever made, with significant aerodynamic advantages, shaving an additional four watts from the lightning-fast combination of Rapide handlebar with Tarmac stem. But to offer a winning advantage, it takes more than pure aerodynamics. The goal for the Roval engineering team was simple: the Rapide Cockpit had to be the fastest handlebar we have ever made, without compromises. It is aerodynamic, lightweight, stiff, and designed in collaboration with the world's best athletes and our expert Retül Fit, so you can grasp victory.

SPECIALIZED ROVAL RAPIDE COCKPIT 90X400MM HANDLEBAR MAIN FEATURES:

• Aerodynamics: Removing the connecting components between the stem and handlebar allowed us to design the handlebar profile in a wing-like shape. We optimized this airfoil to provide the maximum advantage in clean air at speeds encountered in long solo breakaways and even in full-sprint World Tour finishes. While a four-watt improvement may seem small, it results in a 32cm advantage in a final 250m sprint. When races are won by throwing the bike, this is a winning difference.
• Lightweight and Stiff: By removing the connecting components of the stem with the handlebar, the Rapide Cockpit is 50 grams lighter (100mm x 420mm) than the Rapide handlebar with Tarmac stem combination. Made of premium high-modulus carbon fiber, offering the ideal stiffness for the biggest and fastest sprinters in the World Tour, the Rapide Cockpit has a higher stiffness-to-weight ratio than any two-piece system we have ever made.
• Position: The long-standing drawback of one-piece cockpits has been positioning, but we have collaborated with our Retül Fit professionals and top athletes to ensure that almost all riders can find their correct riding position. We offer 15 different stem-handlebar combinations, all at -6 degrees, covering most racing positions. The reach from the tops to the drops has been sculpted for wrist movement freedom both out of the saddle and tucked in an aerodynamic position, while the bend and flare mirror our favorite Rapide handlebar.
• Designed with an aerodynamic profile for a 4-watt advantage compared to a traditional aerodynamic handlebar.
