SPECIALIZED S-WORKS PREVAIL 3 MIPS TEAM TOTAL DIRECT ENERGIES HELMET

The SPECIALIZED PREVAIL 3 MIPS HELMET is the model worn by the professionals of the TOTAL DIRECT ENERGIES team. It is a racing bike helmet with high comfort, thermoregulation and ventilation features. It is the ultimate helmet for a variety of uses that excels in hot conditions, strenuous climbs and mountain stages.
The central "jumpers" from the foam material, which block air from the center, effectively creating channels that increase the ventilation surface area by 24.5 percent compared to the S-Works Prevail II Vent, have been eliminated and the helmet has the largest ventilation zone ever made by Specialized.
On impact, the helmet's job is to dissipate the energy generated, and more EPS foam means better energy management: aramid cables run through the helmet and are anchored to the carbon fiber side panels. At impact, AirCage* technology functions as a suspension bridge and is designed to distribute localized forces throughout the helmet.
Occipital adjustment allows for a custom fit, and the angle of the helmet can also be managed for goggle compatibility. The TriFix system now has thinner straps to avoid any chafing while the Mindset holding system, with micro register, is lightweight and has an even better grip for on-the-fly adjustment while pedaling. The helmet is compatible with the Angi sensor (to be purchased separately).
MIPS Node Air technology is built into the pads with a thin layer designed to dissipate rotational forces.
