SPECIALIZED S-WORKS SHIV TT MODULE FRAME

For years, time trial bikes were designed in a very similar way—flat aerodynamic tubes, heavy and difficult-to-ride frames, and often subpar braking. For flat and fast courses, as used in the past, these characteristics might have been acceptable. However, with today's technically challenging courses, time trial bikes need to be different. We've pushed the limits of UCI regulations by adding disc brakes, shedding weight, and refining the rider’s position. The new Shiv TT is the most customizable time trial bike on the market, offering the widest and simplest range of adjustments without compromise.

SPECIALIZED S-WORKS SHIV TT MODULE FRAME MAIN FEATURES:

• With time trials becoming increasingly technical and challenging, it was crucial to draw from our extensive years of R&D experience and feedback from professionals to create the fastest time trial bike for all courses, whether it’s an urban prologue or a long time trial with significant elevation gain. It's not enough to make the fastest bike on a straightaway. With this in mind, we've reduced weight and improved the handling of the Shiv TT, which now features a completely new profile.
• Position adjustment is another cornerstone of the new Shiv TT design. Thanks to years of Retül positioning data from professionals, we’ve redesigned the bike's geometry and front end: spacers, extensions, armrests, position, stability. The handlebar with the stem is a single piece, simpler and lighter.
• Disc brakes are now essential in time trials, with variable weather, tight corners, and imperfect road surfaces. They allow you to brake just before the turn and add stability both in the corner and during acceleration. And don’t worry, they don’t add air resistance.
