Two decades ago, we created the Enduro Road category, proving that ergonomics improve performance. Today, the Roubaix SL8 with Future Shock 3.0 is lighter, faster and more comfortable than any other road bike. The road may be hell under your tires, but the new Roubaix is like being in heaven.

ABSORPTION: The Future Shock 3.0 damper is the new star in the firmament, more adjustable and resistant. Regardless of the position on the saddle, every rider can benefit from 20mm of friction-free travel between the stem and the head tube. The hands remain firm on the bars, ensuring a smoother ride with more control to be faster, safer and more confident.
The low clamp design exposes more of the seat post to increase its flex. The Pavé seat post 'controls' this movement for optimal absorption of vibrations in the vertical plane. Together, these two things form the 'AfterShock' technology, and when combined with the Roubaix's stiff rear end, they create a smooth ride without compromising efficiency.
The Roubaix SL8 is the most comfortable road bike our Ride Science Team has ever tested - it reduces handlebar impacts by 53% compared to other bikes in its class. With the Future Shock 3.0 damper, the wheel flies over the obstacle while the rider remains stable and holds his line over rough surfaces. Normally, the fork flexes backwards on an impact, causing a loss of speed. It's scientific, more comfortable means faster.
CAPACITY: The Roubaix pioneered endurance geometry, giving you the sensation of riding 'in' the bike, not 'on' the bike. This reduces pressure on your hands, shoulders and arms, giving you the ability and confidence to ride any road.
With clearance for up to 38c/40mm tires, this endurance road bike provides exceptional traction on rough roads or gravel. Thanks to the lightweight and efficient Specialized tires, this increased width doesn't come at a disadvantage.
The Roubaix makes you want to spend long days in the saddle, so we decided to equip it with everything you could possibly need for adventure on the bike - three bottle cage mounts, a top tube mount and preparation for possible mudguards. All that's left to do is go!
PERFORMANCE: The new Roubaix SL8 is the most aerodynamic in its class, with new tube profiles generated by our Free Foil library and lowered seatstays. Building on the Aethos project—the lightest production road bike—we crafted a new 825-gram FACT 12r carbon frame that’s 50 grams lighter than its predecessor.
