The new MTB helmet, D4, is equipped with the MIPS C2 protection system, an acronym for Multidirectional Impact Protection System, a revolutionary technology that reduces and slows the amount of energy transferred to the head in angular impacts. The inclusion of MIPS in Troy Lee Designs helmets drastically reduces rotational forces and, consequently, the risks associated with potential concussions. D4 also features the Collarbone Suspension System, designed to evenly distribute the force and pressure from potential shoulder impacts, rather than concentrating in a single point.
