CANNONDALE JEKYLL 1 BIKE

The CANNONDALE JEKYLL 1 is a trail bike perfect for enduro competitions, bike park sessions and tackling steep, fast and tough descents. It's incredible on the climbs but it's designed for the descents: all components are designed for speed and to push the bike to its limits along steep trajectories.

The main pivot, placed in a high position, allows the axle to retract and absorb all the shocks coming from the ground while the Guidler pulley eliminates pedal feedback, typical of high pivot systems. The rear wishbone maintains smooth braking, high traction and clean pedaling.

Guidler = belt tensioner pulley + chain guide: the belt tensioner eliminates the feedback of the high pivot swing arm, keeping pedalling smooth even when the ground is uneven.

The shock is perfectly integrated into the double down tube, the center of gravity remains low, stability is incredible and the change of trajectory is immediate.

"Proportional Response" design allows for customization of suspension layout, geometry and chainstay length based on bike size.

The "Proportional Response" geometry, long, open and lowered, is customized according to the size of the bike: the front end gets longer in every size, the length of the chainstays increases proportionally, keeping the rider in the center between the wheels and ensuring maximum handling.

The Ai asymmetrical drivetrain allows both a greater spoke angle, making the wheel more rigid and sturdy, and guarantees greater space for the passage of mud between the rear chainstays.
