To mark FOX's 50th anniversary, the company has adorned its forks in gold.

The Podium Gold makes a statement and shines in combination with the Kashima coating. Each model comes with a numbered certificate of authenticity signed by Bob Fox, as well as a golden sticker sheet matching current FOX shocks. Prefer something more discreet? No problem, classic black or FOX's typical orange are, of course, still available. The new cartridge portfolio ranges from GRIP X2 (focused on maximum downhill performance), to GRIP X (focused on uncompromising trail performance), to GRIP SL cartridge (focused on lightweight cross-country performance). What remains is the robust casting, the floating thru-axle combined with the bolt-on Kabolt X thru-axle. Another highlight is the dip tube ventilation and the channels integrated in the dip tubes to improve lubrication and drain the compressed air in the casting. The proven FLOAT EVOL technology ensures perfect responsiveness. Stiff 36 mm stanchions, exclusive SKF seals, and the closed cartridge ensure a long service life. So nothing stands in the way of riding fun on the trail.

GRIP X Damping
This cartridge replaces the classic FIT4 and is the perfect companion for trail and all-mountain use. The aim was to minimize weight and simplify the settings. It offers finer response, higher suspension travel, and the option to completely close the high-speed compression stage (HSC), thus providing a lockout for climbs. There is also a low-speed compression adjustment (LSC), as well as a low-speed rebound (LSR). An internal floating piston (IFP) to absorb the displaced oil is now included in this cartridge. The result is a wider range of use and a strong focus on downhill performance.

EVOL
The enlarged negative air chamber improves the fork's responsiveness. This increases comfort because the breakaway torque has been reduced. Additionally, a more linear spring characteristic curve offers better performance, especially in the middle spring travel ranges.

FLOAT AIR SPRING
The FLOAT air spring system reduces breakaway torque and offers a highly sensitive fork and full comfort even with small bumps, for every type of rider and at different air pressures. Similar to FLOAT shocks, the FLOAT suspension system features a positive and a negative air chamber that automatically balance each other out when riding. Every rider thus enjoys the benefits of the correct, precisely balanced air pressure in both air chambers. The spring characteristic progression can be adjusted with our air volume spacers, allowing every rider to precisely set the characteristics of the air spring.

BLEEDERS
The dip tube bleeders allow air pressure equalization at the touch of a button. Pressure build-up in the dip tubes drastically reduces fork performance and prevents full suspension travel, while simultaneously reducing the sensitivity and responsiveness of the fork on small bumps.

LOWER LEG CHANNELS
When a fork compresses, the air in the lower leg channels is also compressed. The further the fork compresses, the more the pressure increases. This effect means that the fork responds harder and may not be able to use the full suspension travel. Overflow channels help to solve this problem by directing the compressed air from the lower part of the fork tubes upwards, thus reducing the unintended increase in pressure. A further advantage of these channels is that the lubricating oil in the lower section of the dip tubes circulates upwards during the spring process and continuously lubricates the foam rings and sliding bushes.

AIR VOLUME SPACERS
The FLOAT air spring on FOX forks and shocks can be fine-tuned using volume spacers to make the suspension elements more progressive or less progressive. This allows the rider to fine-tune the suspension exactly to their needs.

KASHIMA COAT
The Genuine Kashima Coat coating for a buttery smooth ride is exclusively available only from FOX. The Kashima Coat logo is applied to both stanchions. The distinctive golden Genuine Kashima Coat offers superior overall performance and ensures minimum friction and optimum responsiveness with maximum durability.

FLOATING AXLE
Floating axles are similar to conventional thru-axle systems but offer a significant performance advantage. The special bearing ensures perfect alignment of the fork and avoids unwanted friction caused by tension between the stanchions and lower tubes. Floating axles ensure a much more even suspension movement over the entire range of fork travel and thus improve the response behavior enormously.
