The light and aerodynamic SPECIALIZED COCKPIT ROVAL RAPIDE 31.8X400 120MM HANDLEBAR is perfect for quickly reaching the finish line.The handlebar was made in collaboration with top Specialized team athletes and the Retül Fit team and is aerodynamic, lightweight and stiff-the perfect mix for you to grab victory.
The lack of connecting components between the handlebar and stem allows for a wing profile. A 4-watt improvement may seem small, but it results in a 32-cm advantage on a 250-m final sprint. When races are won by launching the bike, this is a winning difference.
Without the connecting components between the handlebar and stem, the Cockpit Rapide is 50 g lighter (100 mm x 420 mm) than the combination of the Rapide handlebar with Tarmac stem. The handlebar is made of premium high-modulus carbon fiber, which offers the ideal stiffness for the biggest and fastest World Tour sprinters and has a higher stiffness-to-weight ratio than any two-piece system ever made by Specialized.
The 15 different stem and handlebar combinations, all at -6 degrees, allow most racing positions to be covered. The radius from the top to the drops has been sculpted for freedom of wrist movement both mentree you pedal out of the saddle and in an aerodynamic position.
