Total speed has always been the Demo's goal, and with the Demo Race, it's no different. Introducing a new flexible frame design that allows riders to take advantage of a 29-inch front wheel and a 27.5-inch rear wheel, it's a special blend that has been tested by World Champion Loïc Bruni in search of the perfect balance between traction and maneuverability, but was only approved by the UCI last year. Not that it stopped the Demo Race from winning both the Downhill World Championship and the overall World Cup title in its first season...

Now, we offer that same winning combination straight out of the box, with an adjustable rear end that still allows you to switch between 27.5 and 29-inch wheel sizes based on terrain and riding style, while also adjusting for chainstay length and bottom bracket height.

Blazing fast on tough tracks, the Demo Race suspension design has been developed around a more rearward axle path that reduces rear-wheel hang-up, increasing speed instead.

Top-quality Öhlins suspension takes advantage of the most proven suspension kinematics on the World Cup circuit, and SRAM's DH-specific X01 drivetrain has you covered from the start gate to the finish line.

SPECIALIZED DEMO RACE 2024 BIKE MAIN FEATURES:

• The M5 alloy Demo Race frame is fully optimized to take advantage of the traction benefits of a 29-inch front wheel and the increased maneuverability of a 27.5-inch rear wheel, while still allowing you to change the rear wheel size to suit different terrains and riding styles with an adjustable rear end that ensures perfect chainstay length and bottom bracket height regardless of hoop size.
• The Öhlins TTX22M.2 coil shock is designed to handle the most challenging World Cup Downhill tracks, offering external low-speed compression and rebound adjustment, while the Trunnion mount provides extra bushing overlap for increased durability.
• With superb small bump tracking and the ability to absorb landings from even the heftiest drop-offs, the Öhlins DH38 m.1 fork's 200 millimeters of travel will give you smoother, faster, and more secure descent feelings than anything you've ridden before.
