AMPLE CAPABILITY: With 120mm of travel and progressive geometry, the Epic 8 is extremely capable on technical trails, very fast and efficient uphill, and incredibly responsive and snappy in acceleration. Torsional and lateral stiffness also ensure perfect steering precision.

WHAT BUMPS? Compared to the previous model, the Epic 8 absorbs 12% more shock forces and vibrations, so you get less tired to push your energy to the max on the pedals.

RIDE DYNAMICS: The Specialized Ride Dynamics Team has developed custom tuning for the Epic 8's shock, whose characteristics enhance the holistic riding experience. The specific tuning, developed in conjunction with leverage ratios and the renewed kinematics, exponentially improves the ride.

BIOMECHANICAL EFFICIENCY: By optimizing the Epic 8's kinematics, the Specialized Ride Dynamics Team has reduced induced movement during pedaling by 20%, keeping the suspension active for more effective shock management. This allows the rider to maintain a more efficient pedaling position. The result is the most efficient dual-suspension bike we've ever made.

DOING MORE WITH LESS: With the Epic 8, we haven't added a single gram of weight to improve its characteristics. All models now feature SWAT 4.0 and an integrated stem stop to prevent frame damage in case of falls.
