BIG CAPABILITY: The 120mm travel and progressive geometry make the Epic 8 extremely capable on technical trails, very fast and efficient on climbs, and incredibly responsive and agile on accelerations. The torsional and lateral stiffness also guarantee perfect steering precision. With a fork with 130mm of travel, the Epic 8 EVO is comfortable on the roughest descents.

WHAT BUMPS?: Compared to the previous model, the Epic 8 absorbs 12% more shock and vibrations, so you get less tired to push harder on the pedals.

RIDE DYNAMICS: The Specialized Ride Dynamics Team has developed a custom tuning for the Epic 8's shock absorber, whose characteristics enhance the holistic riding experience. The specific tuning developed together with lever ratios and the renewed kinematics exponentially improves the riding experience.

BIOMECHANICAL EFFICIENCY: By optimizing the Epic 8's kinematics, the Specialized Ride Dynamics Team has reduced the induced movement during pedaling by 20% while keeping the suspensions active for more effective shock management. This allows the rider to maintain a more efficient pedaling position. The result is the most efficient full-suspension bike we've ever made.

DOING MORE WITH LESS: With the Epic 8, we haven't added a single gram of weight to improve its characteristics. All models now feature SWAT 4.0 and an integrated steering stop to prevent frame damage in case of crashes.
