Let's be clear, the Stumpjumper EVO Alloy is not your "normal" trail bike. It's built to tackle everything. The sturdy alloy frame design is identical to the carbon one, including the adjustable head angle, 150mm of travel, S-Sizing measurements, and SWAT™ Door compartment. You'll be able to tackle descents with maximum confidence.

SPECIALIZED STUMPJUMPER EVO ALLOY FRAME MAIN FEATURES:

• Suspension travel is useless without the right kinematics, and we've kept this in mind in the design of the Stumpjumper EVO. With what we've learned from developing the Enduro and over 1000 hours of field and lab testing, we've significantly improved pedaling efficiency and created a feeling of capability, efficiency, and liveliness that everyone appreciates. We increased anti-squat so that the suspension better resists bobbing, and we also improved shock absorption on sharp obstacles. In short, the Stumpjumper descends with complete control and ascends with agility.
• The "S-Sizing" geometry of the Stumpjumper EVO is the most progressive. Long, low, relaxed, short offset fork, steeper seat tube, all make you pedal better. But perfect geometry can be different for different riders, that's why for the Stumpjumper EVO you can adjust it to six different positions. Not only can you raise the bottom bracket by 10mm, you can also adjust the head angle by up to two degrees. Finally, if you like the mullet setup, for the Stumpjumper EVO you can mount a 27.5" wheel at the rear paired with a 29" at the front. Rider-First Engineered™ technology is a size-specific design approach to ensure the same ride characteristics for all sizes. So whether you're not exactly a giant and pedal an S1, or if you need the long S6, you'll tackle corners with the same confidence, with an equivalent balance of stiffness, all at the lightest weight possible.
• In 2016, we introduced the SWAT™ compartment in the Stumpjumper frame, so you can store pumps or other items to repair a puncture. Now, for the Stumpjumper, we've increased the space even more, introducing a container, the SWAT™ Bladder, that allows you to carry 650 ml of water in the down tube - the same amount as a water bottle.
