TRICKSTUFF MAXIMA GOODRIDGE BRAKE SET WITH STEEL CARBON EFFECT

With the Maxima, Trickstuff successfully continues its series of top-notch brakes. While the Direttissima already shone with its raw braking power at the lowest possible weight, the new model takes it a step further. Modulation has been further improved, and the manual force required for braking has been significantly reduced. The result is a brake that leaves no doubt in terms of braking power and stability, requiring minimal effort from the rider even on the longest, hardest, and most difficult descents. The core, the 4-piston brake caliper, has been completely redesigned. Thanks to larger pistons and a revised design, braking power and stability have been further increased compared to the Direttissima's Cleg 4 brake caliper. To be able to transfer the increased braking power in a controlled manner, the kinematics of the levers have been optimized for better modulation and lower operating forces. The brake levers feature an enlarged reservoir, 4 ball bearings, and Teflon seals, further facilitating their use. The brake hoses have also been adapted to the increased braking power. The Maxima is equipped with pressure-resistant steel braided hoses and Goodridge connections, which are also particularly light at 17 grams per meter of hose length. In addition to the hoses, the milled brake pistons and cuts on the brake levers reduce the weight to just 311 grams (front brake fully assembled with 90 cm hose without disc, adapter).
