With its 45mm deep undulating rim shape, the 353 NSW ensures speed on any terrain with the best aerodynamic efficiency and crosswind stability in its category. The 353 NSW is Zipp's lightest tubeless wheel, ready to fight for the breakaway. Zipp's use of hookless rims (with straight sides) in the 353 NSW is integral to achieving the Making You Faster mission. With hookless rims, the transition between tire and rim is smoother and more aerodynamic. Zipp's hookless rims have a more efficient resin distribution, meaning lighter wheels. They are also very strong. Zipp's Sawtooth™ rim shape on the 353 NSW with Hyperfoils™ optimizes aerodynamic efficiency and crosswind stability. The Sawtooth™ design also allows the rim to be structurally strong yet light. This will help you exit corners and maintain speed regardless of terrain, especially on steeper and rougher terrain. The 353 NSW uses Zipp's Total System Efficiency™, or TSE™, approach to wheel design: overcoming specific speed obstacles: wind resistance, gravity, rolling resistance, and vibration loss.
