The ZIPP 404 FIRECREST TUBELESS READY DISC-BRAKE CENTER LOCK FRONT WHEEL, with 12x100 mm thru axle and 58 mm depth, is perfect for road racing, time trial, triathlon and granfondo. The width of 23 mm allows you to fit wider tubeless tires at reduced pressure.
This wheel is Total Efficiency System (TSE): an approach to speed in ever-changing road and riding conditions. TSE focuses on overcoming speed-specific barriers: wind resistance, gravity, rolling resistance and vibration losses.
Zipp's ABLC Sawtooth technology uses a complex dimple pattern to improve aerodynamic efficiency. The use of hookless, straight-sided tires is an integral part of Making You Faster: thanks to this system, the transition between tire and rim is smoother and more aerodynamic.
Hookless rims have a more efficient resin distribution that makes the wheel lighter and stronger. The wheel mounts the versatile ZR1 DB hub.
