We designed the Áspero to chase pure speed, with no frills. A bike ready to reach any finish line, conquer KOMs, PRs, and FKTs. A bike built without limits, for riders who want to test theirs. It is stiff—like a classic race bike—and performs as you would expect a road bike to perform off-road. We think this makes sense, and it’s what we were aiming for when we put larger tires on our existing frames and replaced aftermarket forks to fit a 40mm tire.

MULTIPLE CONFIGURATIONS

We designed the bike to comfortably fit most tire/wheel combinations: 700x42 or 650x49. Naturally, there are variables—rim width, tire casing/tread depth—that affect the final setup.

IMPORTANT NOTE - We always recommend a 4mm clearance between the frame and the tire installed on the bike.

TWO-POSITION ADJUSTMENT

The “trail” of a bike is simply the response of the front wheel to the rider's input. It is the most important factor when it comes to high-speed handling. The ability to adjust the trail with the “Trail Mixer” in two positions to compensate for the wide range of tire sizes ensures a consistent ride experience.

BALANCED HANDLING

Stiffness and handling work together to ensure the bike follows a predictable trajectory and responds immediately to critical inputs from the pedals and handlebars.
