The SANTA CRUZ NOMAD 6 CC X01 MX BIKE is perfect for riding anywhere, anytime. A larger wheel at the front, updates to the geometry, storage compartment, and suspension improvements help make this bike even more refined.
The chainstay length and seat angle are matched to the frame size (the STA gets steeper and the rear center increases as the frame size increases) so that every rider, regardless of height, gets the same balance of geometry and handling characteristics.
The mixed configuration of 29-inch wheels at the front provides traction and stability, while the 27.5-inch rear wheel allows for quick steering and lift. Best of both worlds.
Change the chip: in the Low position, the shock speed becomes more progressive, especially at the end of the stroke, and you gain some bottom-out resistance. In the High position, the bike rises a little higher in its travel and provides the rider with more mid-stroke support.
Frame stiffness adjusted for size: larger riders result in greater stresses on larger frames. Stiffness has been adjusted for each size to ensure the same ride quality for everyone.
