Fast tire that can offer maximum confidence even when taking corners at full speed. The center tread is purposely kept low to promote speed, and the rounded pockets near them allow safe braking. High sidewall tread blocks provide high cornering grip.
The Gripton compound uses "predominantly synthetic rubber reinforced with silicon dioxide," which reduces the amount of energy lost through hysteresis. This means the tire deforms less easily, less heat buildup and a more efficient tire with improved wear resistance compared to natural rubber. The Gripton compound is soft and adapts even to rough surfaces. The 56A durometer makes this tire much softer than others and both conforms to surfaces and also filters out vibrations, making for a smoother ride.
